Echelonn works exclusively with ecommerce brands on Google and YouTube Ads. Over 300 brands. More than $15M in monthly spend managed. Nothing else.
If you're already spending on Google and not confident your account is where it should be, book a free audit with Echelonn. No pitch. Just clarity on what to fix first.

OpenAI unveils GPT-5.5, advancing toward unified AI super app
OpenAI releases GPT-5.5, bringing company one step closer to an AI 'super app'
OpenAI has launched GPT-5.5, positioning it as the company's "smartest and most intuitive" AI model to date. The release represents a significant step toward what co-founder and president Greg Brockman describes as OpenAI's vision for creating an AI "super app."
Speaking to journalists, Brockman emphasized that GPT-5.5 marks substantial progress "towards more agentic and intuitive computing." He characterized the model as "a faster, sharper thinker for fewer tokens compared to something like 5.4," making advanced AI capabilities more accessible to both businesses and consumers.
The concept of a "super app" has become central to OpenAI's strategic vision. Brockman and co-founder Sam Altman envision combining ChatGPT, Codex, and AI browser functionality into one unified platform designed to serve enterprise customers comprehensively. This approach mirrors similar ambitions from Elon Musk, Altman's rival and former OpenAI colleague, who aims to transform X into a comprehensive super app platform.
OpenAI's development pace has accelerated dramatically, with GPT-5.5 following releases in March, December, and November. Chief scientist Jakub Pachocki suggests this rapid iteration will continue, stating the company sees "pretty significant improvements in the short term, extremely significant improvements in the medium term." Remarkably, he noted that "the last two years have been surprisingly slow" compared to expected future progress.
GPT-5.5 demonstrates enhanced capabilities across diverse applications, from foundational enterprise functions like agentic coding and knowledge work to experimental fields including mathematics and scientific research. OpenAI's internal benchmarking data shows GPT-5.5 consistently outperforming both previous OpenAI models and competitor offerings from Google and Anthropic, including Gemini 3.1 Pro and Claude Opus 4.5.
The competitive landscape with Anthropic remains intense. When questioned about capabilities similar to Anthropic's controversial Mythos cybersecurity tool, OpenAI technical staff member Mia Glaese emphasized the company's "strong and longstanding strategy" for cybersecurity applications and commitment to "rolling out models safely."
Chief research officer Mark Chen highlighted GPT-5.5's improved computer navigation abilities and "meaningful gains on scientific and technical research workflows." He expressed particular optimism about the model's potential to "help expert scientists make progress," especially in drug discovery—an area experiencing significant industry investment.
The model's enhanced scientific capabilities position OpenAI to compete more effectively in specialized research applications. Chen's emphasis on drug discovery aligns with broader industry trends toward AI-assisted pharmaceutical development, potentially opening new revenue streams beyond traditional language model applications.
GPT-5.5 became widely available Thursday across OpenAI's service tiers. The standard model deploys to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise ChatGPT users, while GPT-5.5 Pro is accessible to Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers, ensuring broad accessibility across OpenAI's customer base.
This release strategy reflects OpenAI's commitment to democratizing advanced AI capabilities while maintaining premium tiers for professional users. The tiered approach balances accessibility with revenue generation, crucial as the company faces increasing competition and development costs.
The GPT-5.5 launch underscores OpenAI's aggressive timeline toward achieving artificial general intelligence and comprehensive AI integration. With each iteration, the company moves closer to its super app vision—a single platform capable of handling diverse computational tasks seamlessly, potentially revolutionizing how businesses and individuals interact with AI technology.

Bret Taylor's Sierra buys YC-backed AI startup Fragment
Sierra acquires French AI workflow startup Fragment in third acquisition.
Sierra, the customer service agent startup founded by former Salesforce co-CEO Bret Taylor, announced Thursday its acquisition of Fragment, a Y Combinator-backed French startup specializing in AI workflow integration for businesses.
This marks Sierra's third public acquisition in its aggressive expansion strategy. The company previously acquired Japan-based enterprise AI solutions provider Opera Tech and voice agent company Receptive AI, both announced in late March. Fragment's co-founders, Olivier Moindrot and Guillaume Genthial, will join Sierra's team to strengthen the company's agent development efforts in France.
While the financial terms of the Fragment deal remain undisclosed, PitchBook estimates that Fragment had raised approximately $2 million in seed funding. The acquisition represents Sierra's continued commitment to expanding its AI capabilities and international presence.
Taylor, who currently serves as OpenAI's chairman of the board, co-founded Sierra with Google veteran Clay Bavor after stepping down from his role as Salesforce co-CEO in early 2023. The startup has quickly gained traction in the customer service automation space, securing notable clients including mattress company Casper, airport security provider Clear, and financial services startup Brex.
Sierra's rapid growth has been matched by significant investor confidence. The company has raised over $630 million in funding from prominent venture capital firms including Sequoia and Benchmark, achieving a remarkable $10 billion valuation. This substantial war chest has enabled Sierra to pursue an acquisition strategy while building its core customer service AI platform.
The Fragment acquisition aligns with Sierra's mission to revolutionize customer service through advanced AI agents. By integrating Fragment's workflow automation expertise, Sierra aims to offer more comprehensive solutions that seamlessly blend AI capabilities into existing business processes, positioning itself as a leader in the rapidly evolving customer service technology landscape.
