Good morning ☀️, leader of the next generation.

Sometimes we give technology too much credit or too much blame.

The truth is, it’s a tool. How we use it is what matters.

Used with purpose, it helps us see more clearly, build faster, and express ourselves in new ways.

It’s not about chasing trends. It’s about creating something real.

Nvidia and Deutsche Telekom announce billion-euro AI data center partnership

Nvidia, Deutsche Telekom strike €1B partnership for a data center in Munich

Nvidia continues to leverage its dominant position in the artificial intelligence market with a massive new European investment. The chip giant has announced a €1 billion ($1.15 billion) partnership with German telecommunications leader Deutsche Telekom to establish an advanced AI facility in Munich, designed to significantly enhance Germany's artificial intelligence computing capabilities.

The ambitious project, dubbed the "Industrial AI Cloud," represents a strategic move to boost Germany's AI infrastructure by an impressive 50%. This state-of-the-art facility will be powered by more than 1,000 cutting-edge Nvidia DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers, incorporating up to 10,000 revolutionary Blackwell GPUs to deliver comprehensive AI inferencing and related services to German enterprises.

A key aspect of this partnership is its commitment to adhering to strict German data sovereignty regulations, ensuring that sensitive business and personal information remains within national borders while accessing world-class AI capabilities.

The collaboration has already attracted notable early partners. Agile Robots will contribute their advanced robotic systems to handle server rack installations at the facility, while AI search company Perplexity plans to utilize the data center to provide localized AI inferencing services to German users and businesses. Deutsche Telekom has also identified digital twins and physics-based simulation as primary use cases for industrial companies seeking to modernize their operations.

The partnership structure divides responsibilities strategically: Deutsche Telekom will manage the physical infrastructure development, while enterprise software giant SAP will contribute its comprehensive business technology platform and applications suite to support the facility's operations.

This initiative arrives during a critical period for European technology independence. The continent's tech industry has been increasingly vocal about reducing dependence on foreign infrastructure providers and fostering domestic alternatives. Simultaneously, technology companies have expressed concerns about the European Union's regulatory approach to AI development, arguing that overly restrictive rules could stifle innovation and competitiveness.

The timing is particularly significant given the EU's own AI infrastructure commitments. Earlier this year, the European Union allocated €200 billion toward establishing "AI gigafactories" across the continent, with a specific focus on industrial and mission-critical applications. However, European AI funding has consistently lagged behind American investment levels, where technology giants like Microsoft, Google, and Oracle have committed hundreds of billions of dollars to massive data center construction and AI infrastructure development.

Deutsche Telekom has clarified that their Munich project operates independently from the EU's official AI gigafactory initiative, suggesting this represents additional private sector investment in European AI capabilities beyond government-sponsored programs.

"Mechanical engineering and industry have made this country strong," explained Tim Höttges, Deutsche Telekom's CEO. "But here, too, we are challenged. AI is a huge opportunity. It will help to improve our products and strengthen our European strengths."

The Industrial AI Cloud is scheduled to begin operations in early 2026, positioning Germany as a more significant player in the global AI infrastructure landscape. This development represents Nvidia's continued expansion beyond its traditional chip manufacturing role into comprehensive AI ecosystem development, while providing European businesses with advanced AI capabilities that comply with local data protection requirements.

ClickUp adds new AI assistant to better compete with Slack and Notion

ClickUp launches AI-powered platform redesign targeting Slack and Notion competitors.

ClickUp has unveiled a major redesign of its productivity platform alongside new AI assistant features, positioning itself as a comprehensive workspace solution to compete with industry leaders like Slack and Notion. The company's 4.0 release was made possible through its strategic acquisition of Qatalog, an enterprise search startup that had raised over $29.5 million from notable investors including Salesforce Ventures and Atomico.

The platform introduces two distinct AI agents designed to enhance workplace productivity. The first is a communication-focused agent that proactively monitors all channels, identifying questions and providing answers using both internal company knowledge and external sources like Google Drive, OneDrive, Figma, and Gmail. The second assistant, called Brain, serves as a comprehensive productivity tool capable of generating ideas, scheduling meetings, managing tasks, accessing web resources, analyzing reports, and creating drafts.

ClickUp 4.0 streamlines user experience by enabling seamless transitions between tasks, documents, and communications through an enhanced sidebar interface. The platform now features an internal company forum timeline, multiple communication channels, and integrated task management options all accessible from one location.

The company has significantly expanded its communication capabilities to match competitors like Slack and Microsoft Teams. New features include AI-powered meeting summaries, live video and audio calls called SyncUps, automated transcription services, and intelligent note distribution. The calendar tool now automatically adjusts meetings and tasks based on priority settings, while a dashboard provides leaders with real-time team analytics and availability insights.

CEO Zeb Evans emphasized the company's eight-year vision to replace all work software through flexible data models and core software primitives. With over $300 million in annual recurring revenue and more than $537 million in total funding from investors including a16z and Tiger Global, ClickUp plans to go public within two years, capitalizing on its strong growth momentum in the competitive productivity software market.
