Google launches Gemini app for iOS worldwide
Google has released its dedicated Gemini AI assistant app for iOS users worldwide, marking a significant expansion of its AI ecosystem. This launch follows the successful rollout of the Android version earlier this year and introduces several new features for Apple device users.

The new iOS app supports text-based interactions in 35 languages and introduces Gemini Live, enabling voice conversations in 12 major languages including English, Spanish, French, and Hindi. OpenAI has updated ChatGPT's desktop app for macOS to interact with several coding applications, including VS Code, Xcode, TextEdit, Terminal, and iTerm2. The new "Work with Apps" feature allows ChatGPT to read code directly from these applications, eliminating the need for copy-pasting. Currently available for Plus and Teams users (with Enterprise and Edu access coming soon), the feature relies on macOS's accessibility API and can process up to 200 lines of code. Musk’s amended lawsuit against OpenAI names Microsoft as a defendant
Elon Musk has amended his lawsuit against OpenAI to include Microsoft, Reid Hoffman, and former OpenAI board member Dee Templeton as defendants. The updated complaint adds Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis and Musk's xAI as plaintiffs, arguing that OpenAI is trying to eliminate competitors like xAI by discouraging investors and unfairly benefiting from Microsoft's resources.
