Amazon begins delivering select products via drone in Phoenix
Amazon has launched drone delivery services in Phoenix's West Valley Metro Area, offering about 50,000 products weighing five pounds or less for delivery within an hour. The service uses the FAA-approved MK30 drone, which Amazon claims is twice as powerful and 50% quieter than its predecessor. Operating during daylight hours and favorable weather conditions, deliveries will originate from Tolleson.
