Ghost: Free Postgres For Agents

Agents are desperate for ephemeral databases.

They spin up projects, fork environments, test ideas, and tear them down. Over and over. But every database on the market was designed for humans who provision once and stick around. Agents don't work that way.

Ghost is a database built for agents. Unlimited databases, unlimited forks, 1 TB of storage, and 100 compute hours per month. All free. Try it here.

Good morning ☀️, leader of the next generation.

We will talk about agents. AI agents.

They will change the way how we do business, how we interract and even how we do our everyday lives.

Agents will build business.

Agents will organize your day.

Agents will fill up your fridge.

I will let that sit in here for a while, so we can imagine and build the future together one agent at a time...

Neurable expands brain-reading technology licensing for consumer wearable devices.

BCI startup Neurable looks to license its 'mind-reading' tech for consumer wearables

Brain-computer interface (BCI) technology has evolved from science fiction fantasy to a competitive tech sector reality. Neurable, a company pioneering non-invasive BCI solutions, recently announced plans to license its "mind-reading" technology to consumer wearable manufacturers.

Unlike companies such as Neuralink, which requires surgical implants, Neurable's approach eliminates the need for invasive procedures. Their technology combines EEG sensors with sophisticated signal processing to monitor brain activity, analyze it using artificial intelligence, and provide insights into cognitive performance.

After raising $35 million in Series A funding in December, Neurable is scaling its commercialization efforts. The company aims to integrate its brain-sensing technology into various consumer wearables across multiple industries, including health and fitness products, productivity tools, and gaming devices.

"Through Neurable's licensing platform, OEMs can directly integrate its AI-powered brain-sensing technology into existing hardware, such as headphones, hats, glasses, and headbands, while maintaining full control over product design, user experience, and distribution," the company stated.

Neurable has already established successful partnerships to demonstrate its technology's effectiveness. The company collaborated with HP Inc.'s HyperX gaming brand to develop a headset designed to help gamers optimize focus and performance. Additionally, they partnered with iMotions, a human behavior research platform, to support various research initiatives.

CEO Ramses Alcaide explained the company's strategic shift from targeted partnerships to broader market expansion. "In the past, we were very specific about our partnerships," he noted. Previously, Neurable focused on proving unique commercial applications with individual companies. Now, having demonstrated successful traction across multiple fronts, the startup is prioritizing scalability.

"What we're doing now is we're basically saying, like, 'Hey, we've demonstrated that we're getting great traction. Let's make this as ubiquitous as heart rate sensors on your wrist,'" Alcaide said.

Given that brain data is inherently more sensitive than typical biometric information, privacy protection becomes crucial. Alcaide emphasized that the company ensures user data is "protected and anonymized." Neurable follows HIPAA standards and has implemented robust encryption and anonymization measures that exceed typical startup practices at their stage.

Regarding AI training using neural data, Alcaide clarified their approach: "We can with user consent, right? But we do it in a very specific way." The company requests explicit user permission for particular experiments and avoids collecting data indiscriminately. This targeted approach ensures responsible data usage while advancing their technology development.

Alcaide believes the neuro-technology industry has reached a critical "inflection point" where "a real business model in neuro-technology that is scalable" finally exists. This represents a significant milestone for the sector, suggesting broader adoption and commercial viability.

The potential applications for Neurable's technology span numerous industries. Health and fitness wearables could provide users with detailed cognitive performance metrics, while productivity tools might help optimize focus and mental clarity throughout workdays. Gaming applications could enhance player experiences by monitoring attention and engagement levels in real-time.

As Neurable expands its licensing program, the company positions itself as a key player in democratizing brain-computer interface technology. By making their solutions accessible through existing wearable devices, they're removing traditional barriers to BCI adoption while maintaining user privacy and data security.

The success of Neurable's licensing strategy could significantly accelerate consumer acceptance of brain-computer interfaces, potentially making cognitive monitoring as commonplace as heart rate tracking in everyday wearables.

Lovable debuts mobile no-code AI app builder despite Apple restrictions

Lovable launches its vibe-coding app on iOS and Android

Lovable has launched its no-code AI app builder on iOS and Android, enabling users to create apps through voice or text prompts on mobile devices. The launch follows Apple's crackdown on vibe-coding apps that violated developer guidelines by downloading new code.

To comply with Apple's security rules, Lovable's app now generates working websites and web apps rather than running generated code within the host app. Users can seamlessly switch between desktop and mobile, receiving notifications when builds are ready for review.

Amazon launches an AI-powered audio Q&A experience on product pages

Amazon introduces conversational AI feature for product page interactions.

Amazon has unveiled a groundbreaking AI-powered feature that transforms how customers interact with product information. The new "Join the chat" capability allows users to ask questions about products and receive conversational audio responses generated in real time by AI-powered shopping experts.

This innovative feature aims to streamline the shopping experience by eliminating the need to scroll through lengthy product descriptions or countless reviews. Instead, customers can simply ask specific questions like whether a coffee maker is beginner-friendly or if a sweater feels itchy based on customer feedback, and receive natural, discussion-style responses.

What sets this technology apart is its conversational intelligence. The AI builds on previous responses to provide increasingly relevant information while avoiding repetition, creating an experience similar to speaking with a knowledgeable store employee. Customers can steer the conversation direction, with each question influencing subsequent responses for a truly personalized interaction.

"Join the chat" operates within Amazon's broader "Hear the highlights" experience, which offers short audio summaries across millions of product pages in the Amazon Shopping app. This feature has been in testing since May and is currently available to U.S. customers, though audio summaries are limited to select products.

Using the feature is straightforward. Customers tap the "Hear the highlights" button below product images to access brief overviews, then select the "Join the chat" icon to ask questions via text or voice. The audio continues playing even while browsing other sections.

This launch represents Amazon's continued expansion of AI-driven shopping tools. The company's growing arsenal includes Rufus, a generative AI assistant for product research; Interests, which tracks and surfaces personalized item recommendations; and "Help me decide," which suggests products based on individual shopping patterns and browsing history. These tools collectively demonstrate Amazon's commitment to creating more intelligent, personalized shopping experiences.
