Good morning ☀️, leader of the next generation.
I believe this: Technology, when used with intention, doesn’t distract us — it awakens us.
It shows us who we are. What we can build. How far we can go.
It strips away the noise and gives us tools that let our natural genius come through.
That we stop waiting for the world to hand us permission — and we start using the tools already in our hands to create, to express, to become.
This is not about keeping up.
It’s about breaking through.

IBM partners with Anthropic to integrate Claude AI models
Anthropic and IBM announce strategic partnership

Technology giant IBM has forged a strategic alliance with AI research company Anthropic, marking a significant step in bringing advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to enterprise software solutions. The collaboration will see Anthropic's Claude large language models integrated into IBM's product ecosystem, beginning with the company's integrated development environment.
The Armonk, New York-based technology leader revealed on Tuesday that it would incorporate Claude's AI capabilities into select software products, with the development environment serving as the initial testing ground. This integrated development environment is currently accessible to a limited group of customers, suggesting a phased rollout approach for the new AI-enhanced features.
Beyond software integration, the partnership extends to knowledge sharing and best practices. IBM and Anthropic have collaborated to create a comprehensive guide designed to help enterprises successfully build, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade AI agents. This resource aims to address the growing demand for practical AI implementation strategies in corporate environments.
While both companies have confirmed the partnership, financial terms and specific details about the deal's scope remain undisclosed. IBM has not yet provided additional information about the long-term vision for this collaboration or potential expansion plans.
This IBM partnership represents part of Anthropic's aggressive expansion into the enterprise market, a strategy that gained momentum following the launch of Claude Enterprise in September 2024. The AI research lab has been actively pursuing large-scale corporate partnerships to establish its foothold in the competitive business AI sector.
The timing of the IBM announcement coincides with another major enterprise deal for Anthropic. Just one day prior, the company announced a significant partnership with global consulting firm Deloitte, which will deploy Claude across its massive workforce of nearly 500,000 employees worldwide. According to Anthropic, this Deloitte deployment represents the largest enterprise rollout in the company's history.
These partnerships come at a time when enterprise preferences in AI models appear to be shifting. Recent market research conducted by Menlo Ventures in July revealed that enterprises increasingly favor Claude models over competing AI solutions, including those offered by OpenAI. The study indicated a notable trend: enterprise usage of OpenAI's models has been experiencing a decline since 2023, suggesting a potential market opportunity for alternative AI providers like Anthropic.
The enterprise AI market has become increasingly competitive, with companies seeking AI solutions that can meet strict security, compliance, and performance requirements. Anthropic's focus on enterprise-grade AI agents and partnerships with established technology leaders like IBM positions the company to capture a significant share of this growing market.
For IBM, this partnership aligns with the company's broader strategy of integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities into its enterprise software portfolio. By incorporating Claude's advanced language processing abilities, IBM can offer its customers more sophisticated AI-powered tools for software development and other business applications.
As organizations continue to explore AI adoption strategies, partnerships like this one between IBM and Anthropic are likely to become more common, representing a collaborative approach to bringing advanced AI capabilities to enterprise environments while addressing the complex requirements of business-grade implementations.
Google expands AI app-building tool to 15 countries
Google launches its AI vibe-coding app Opal in 15 more countries

Google is expanding Opal, its AI-powered no-code app builder, to 15 new countries including Canada, India, Japan, and Brazil. The tool allows users to create mini web applications using text prompts, surprising Google with the sophistication of early creations.
The platform uses Google's AI models to generate apps based on user descriptions. Creators can customize workflows through a visual editor, publish their apps online, and share them publicly. Google has improved Opal's performance, reducing creation time from five seconds to nearly instant and enabling parallel processing for complex workflows.

How Otter.ai's CEO is pushing the company to be more than just a meeting scribe

Otter.ai evolves from meeting transcription to enterprise knowledge base platform.
Otter.ai CEO Sam Liang is transforming his company from a simple meeting notetaker into an enterprise knowledge powerhouse. The Silicon Valley-based AI startup released a new suite of enterprise tools Tuesday, marking a significant evolution in its business strategy.
The new product lineup includes an API for custom integrations with platforms like Jira and HubSpot, an MCP server that connects Otter data to external AI models, and an AI agent capable of searching company meeting notes and presentations. These tools are designed to funnel meeting information into centralized knowledge bases, helping companies extract greater value from recorded conversations.
"We are evolving from a meeting notetaker to a corporate meeting knowledge base," Liang explained. "This is a system record for conversations. It can help corporations scale their growth and drive measurable business value."
Founded in 2016 when meeting transcription companies were scarce, Otter now faces intense competition from AI boom-driven startups like Granola and Circleback, plus established players like Fireflies. Liang believes this strategic pivot separates Otter from its former peers.
The CEO argues that meetings contain the majority of company knowledge, from customer sales calls to marketing strategy discussions. However, without centralized storage, this information remains trapped in silos. "A lot of times, inefficiency happens because of information silos," Liang noted. "One team doesn't know what the other team is doing."
Privacy concerns remain significant, as transcriptions capture informal conversations and small talk that may contain sensitive information. Otter faces an August class-action lawsuit alleging unauthorized recording of private conversations for training purposes.
While Liang cannot comment on the lawsuit specifically, he maintains confidence in the company's direction. "My view is that we are on the right side of history," he said. "We're building this new AI revolution. If you want AI to help, you need to put AI in the meetings."
