📷 ChatGPT: Tool that is changing the whole game.

ChatGPT has a new feature that will help it make memories…but not quite in the way you might think. The new “memory“ feature announced yesterday will enable ChatGPT to build up context and memory about your preferences based on prior chats, and in turn, give you answers tailored to your preferences.

Or you may want to tailor answers specific to your profession and industry. Say you’re a marketer for a productivity app. Just ask ChatGPT to remember that detail and tailor answers to your product every time you give it a marketing prompt.

Bummer alert: ChatGPT says they might use your data from memories to train their models. But if you’re not cool with that, you can opt-out in the Data Controls section of your settings.

The memory feature is currently being tested with a select number of users, and will also work with custom GPTs.

The feature will let users tell ChatGPT to remember certain instructions for the future. For example, you may prefer bullet points to long paragraphs. You’ll simply be able to instruct ChatGPT to give you answers formatted as bullet points the next time you ask it a question.
