Good morning ☀️, leader of the next generation.
Sometimes we give technology too much credit or too much blame.
The truth is, it’s a tool. How we use it is what matters.
Used with purpose, it helps us see more clearly, build faster, and express ourselves in new ways.
It’s not about chasing trends. It’s about creating something real.

Anthropic partners with Fluidstack for massive infrastructure expansion across US
Anthropic announces $50 billion data center plan
AI powerhouse Anthropic has unveiled an ambitious $50 billion infrastructure investment, partnering with U.K.-based neocloud provider Fluidstack to construct custom data centers across the United States. This massive commitment represents the company's first major foray into building dedicated infrastructure to support its rapidly growing computational demands.
The new facilities will be strategically positioned in Texas and New York, with operations expected to commence throughout 2026. These data centers are being specifically designed and optimized for Anthropic's workloads, ensuring maximum efficiency for the company's Claude family of AI models.
"We're getting closer to AI that can accelerate scientific discovery and help solve complex problems in ways that weren't possible before," stated Dario Amodei, Anthropic's CEO and co-founder. "Realizing that potential requires infrastructure that can support continued development at the frontier."
The substantial investment aligns with Anthropic's aggressive growth projections. Internal revenue forecasts suggest the company expects to reach $70 billion in revenue with $17 billion in positive cash flow by 2028. This custom infrastructure development represents a significant shift for Anthropic, which has previously relied heavily on cloud partnerships with tech giants Google and Amazon, both of whom are also investors in the company.
While $50 billion represents an enormous commitment in the AI infrastructure space, it pales in comparison to investments from Anthropic's competitors. Meta has committed a staggering $600 billion for data center construction over the next three years, while the high-profile Stargate partnership involving SoftBank, OpenAI, and Oracle has allocated $500 billion for infrastructure spending. This escalating investment arms race has raised concerns among industry observers about the potential for an AI bubble, driven by either insufficient demand or misallocated capital.
The partnership marks a significant victory for Fluidstack, a relatively young but rapidly ascending player in the neocloud sector. Founded in 2017, the company has emerged as a preferred vendor during the current AI infrastructure boom. Earlier this year, Fluidstack was selected as the primary partner for a massive 1 gigawatt AI project backed by the French government, representing over $11 billion in spending.
Fluidstack's client portfolio already includes major technology companies such as Meta, Black Forest Labs, and France's Mistral, according to Forbes. The company has also achieved the distinction of being one of the first third-party vendors to receive Google's custom-built Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), signaling strong industry confidence in its capabilities and infrastructure.
The intense computational requirements of modern AI systems, particularly large language models like Anthropic's Claude, have created unprecedented demand for specialized data center infrastructure. These custom-built facilities are designed to handle the massive parallel processing requirements needed for both training and inference operations of advanced AI models.
This infrastructure investment underscores the broader trend of AI companies moving beyond traditional cloud services toward purpose-built, optimized computing environments. As AI models become increasingly sophisticated and computationally demanding, companies are finding that custom infrastructure offers better performance, efficiency, and cost control compared to general-purpose cloud solutions.
The announcement comes at a time when the AI industry is experiencing unprecedented growth and investment, with companies racing to secure the computational resources necessary to maintain their competitive edge in developing next-generation artificial intelligence systems.
Veir develops superconducting cables for energy-hungry data centers
Microsoft-backed Veir is bringing superconductors to data centers
Data center power demands are surging from 200 kilowatts to an expected megawatt per rack, creating space and heat challenges. Microsoft-backed startup Veir is addressing this with superconducting cables that carry 3 megawatts of electricity while requiring 20 times less space than copper alternatives.
The superconductors operate at -196°C using liquid nitrogen cooling and will be piloted in data centers next year before a planned 2027 commercial launch. CEO Tim Heidel notes the AI and data center community's urgency to find solutions outpaces traditional utility adoption timelines.

⚡ Trends for the Future
ElevenLabs strike deals with celebs to create AI audio
ElevenLabs partners with celebrities for AI voice generation marketplace.
ElevenLabs has announced groundbreaking partnerships with renowned actors Michael Caine and Matthew McConaughey to create AI-generated versions of their voices. This development marks a significant shift in how celebrities are embracing artificial intelligence technology for commercial applications.
The relationship between Hollywood and AI has been complex, with concerns about AI guardrails serving as one of the primary catalysts for the Hollywood strikes that occurred a few years ago. However, the entertainment industry's stance on AI appears to be evolving, with some artists beginning to see the potential benefits of the technology.
This trend isn't entirely new in the tech world. Last year, Meta made headlines when it announced that its Meta AI assistant would feature voice options that sound like popular actresses Kristen Bell and Judi Dench, demonstrating the growing appeal of celebrity AI voices in consumer technology.
Matthew McConaughey's involvement with ElevenLabs goes beyond just lending his voice – he's also an investor in the company. His AI-generated voice will be used to translate his newsletter content into Spanish audio, showcasing a practical application of the technology for content creators looking to reach multilingual audiences.
Perhaps most significantly, ElevenLabs has launched a comprehensive marketplace that allows brands to access authorized AI-generated voices of various celebrities. The platform will feature not only Caine and McConaughey but also other notable figures including Broadway legend Liza Minnelli and the late Dr. Maya Angelou.
ElevenLabs has established itself as one of the most prominent AI unicorn companies in the voice generation space. The company has attracted significant investment from notable venture capital firms including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and ICONIQ, positioning it well to capitalize on the growing demand for AI voice technology in commercial applications.
